Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience with 1 months within the past 6 months.

• Travel experience is required from any number of months.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

• Diploma completion required

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months between Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - MultiCare Health System

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Will accept a first time traveler upon review.

• High Acuity Experience: Labor management and delivery of high risk OB patients, ability to triage OB patients, circulate in OR, cervical checks, reading/interpreting fetal monitoring strips; Second set of hands (receive and recover normal newborn as needed).

Preferred Skills/Experience: 5+ years of experience.

Required Credentials: If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Rotation: Every other, but can be variable based on need.

• No mandatory call requirements; May pick up available open shifts as needs arise.

• Holiday Expectations: Fair and equitable.

Floating Requirements: Will float to antepartum (within L & D), postpartum (4th floor, occasionally); Additional assignments within scope and experience.

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - 1 required for submission

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring)
