Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Float Pool experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have unit/specialty experience in the past 6 months. Must be able to interpret EKGs.
Required Credentials: Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam has a maximum of 2 attempts. Pass/fail Sim Lab required on day 1 of orientation. Resume: Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether it was a teaching facility.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details: Ratios: Tele units 1:3-4; MedSurg units 1:4 days and nights. Tele B3A: Post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, and general telemetry; Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine titrate down only; ages 15 and older. Tele Neuro: Neuro post-surgical, post cranis, spine, and CVAs post TPA; no ICP monitoring. MedSurg C5: 80% surgical and 20% oncology; ortho knee and hip program; elective knee/hip, urological, abdominal, Whipple, and women’s surgeries (no OBGyn). MedSurg B2C: General MedSurg patients requiring telemetry; Amio and Cardizem titrate down only. Centralized telemetry, GE monitors, and Spectralink phones.
Shift & Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts per sched (Sat/Sun).
Floating Requirements: ER float positions require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established; however, this may not be the facility where the clinician is regularly assigned. A schedule will be made in advance so clinicians know which location to report to. First to float. Will float between all Tele and MedSurg units. Floating is required. Depending on skill level, nurses will float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, all Tele units, MedSurg, and any holding area, including Cath Lab, ER, observation floor, and hallway holds. Observation floor is staffed first, then other units. Floating includes Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses. Notification of campus and unit is given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start. Floating to different units mid-shift can happen. Floating to another campus within a single shift is rare, but possible.
Previous Employment Requirements: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
