Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
• 6 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required within the last 3 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Required Skills/Experience: - Must be able to interpret EKG.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Neuro experience preferred.
Required Credentials: - You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Two attempts are allowed.
Unit Details: - Neuro telemetry unit with central telemetry monitoring. - Charge nurse takes a light patient assignment. - Day shift has 4 nurse aides; night shift has 3. Nurse aides handle blood sugars, vital signs, and straight catheterization. - Common patient population includes trached patients, CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, encephalopathy, ESRD, psych issues, and brain tumors. - Titrated drips include heparin, amiodarone, and cardizem. - Fast-paced, high-turnover unit with bedside report. - SWAT RN available for difficult IV sticks.
Shift & Scheduling: - 4 weekend shifts in 8 weeks. - Worked into permanent holiday rotation.
Floating Requirements: - Float to cardiac tele, tele overflow in ICU, and med-surg. - ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established; however, this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so the clinician is aware of which location to report to.
