Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials: - Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) course required. - Basic Arrhythmia exam and Pharmacology exam assigned upon offer acceptance; failure after two attempts results in immediate cancellation by the facility. - Successful passage of the Basic Arrhythmia Challenge Exam or completion of a Basic Arrhythmia course within 12 months of accepting the position.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - IR experience preferred.
Unit Details: - Performs interventional procedures using ionizing radiation in a Cath Lab environment. - Assists with invasive procedures including scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and recording hemodynamic parameters; operates interventional equipment; assists with contrast administration; sets up sterile trays; and performs routine safety checks and cleaning of interventional equipment. - Examples of IR procedures include diagnostic and interventional peripheral procedures/venograms, carotid and AV fistula procedures, embolization, IVC filter, lytics, dialysis, Quinton cath, TIPS, PICC, biopsy, drain placement, G/J tube placement, kidney tubes, and THC biliary procedures. - Use of lead apron required.
Shift & Scheduling: - Start times 07a-330p, 08a-430p, and 09a-530p. - On-call required in rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
