Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience: - IR experience preferred.
Required Credentials: - Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned a Basic Arrhythmia exam and a Pharmacology exam. If you fail the exams twice, this will result in immediate cancellation by the facility. - Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) course required.
Unit Details: - Performs invasive and diagnostic interventional procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring and recording hemodynamic parameters. - Assists with contrast media administration and operates interventional equipment and devices. - IR procedures include diagnostic and interventional peripheral procedures and venograms, aortagram (LE, UE, visceral), carotid, AV fistula, embolization, IVC filter, lytics, dialysis, Quinton cath, TIPS, PICC, biopsy, drains, G/J tubes, kidney tubes, and THC biliary procedures. - Use of lead apron required.
Shift & Scheduling: - 40hrs per week, 8-hour shifts (will consider 10hr shifts). Start times 07a-330p, 08a-430p and 09a-530p. On call required in rotation, for nights, weekends and holidays.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certifications CI, VI
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
