Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
3-4 years of cath lab experience.

Required Credentials:
Minimum 1 year of work experience in a medical setting; 1 year of relevant experience with an associate degree or higher is required, or minimum 1 year of specific experience in a medical setting (i.e., LPN, RT, or EMT/Paramedic) with a high school diploma is required.
Driver's license/government-issued ID and Social Security card are required to apply.

Unit Details:
Assists the physician during diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiovascular procedures.
Operates specialized equipment and maintains sterile technique during procedures.
Patient population is primarily adults eighteen to sixty-five and geriatric patients over age sixty-five.

Shift & Scheduling:
Scheduled hours could extend beyond the posted shift when on call.
On-call coverage is required nights and weekends.
A 30-minute response time is required when on call.
Holiday work is required.
The cardiovascular technologist may participate in the cath or EP call rotation once appropriately oriented and checked off on clinical and operational competencies.

3 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 0. Start assignment restriction: 7 days

2 Manager references required from within the last 12 months

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI
