Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Previous experience in an Interventional Radiology department preferred.

Required Credentials:
If you have RCIS, state license is not required.

Unit Details:
Performs interventional and cardiac cath lab radiology.
Assists by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic or therapeutic cardiovascular procedures.
Ensures the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
Monitors par levels of all instruments and supplies.
Assists with invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
Participates in departmental staff meetings, performance improvement activities, and training of new staff.

Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday shifts may be 7a-330p or 8a-430p.
Rotating on-call coverage is required: 2 days/week and 1 weekend/month.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required

Certifications:

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• (R) (Registered Technologist - Radiography)

• VI (Vascular Interventional Radiography)

• BVP (Behavioral Violence Prevention)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
