Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Three years’ technical experience preferred. Experience as a Special Procedures Technologist preferred.

Required Credentials: Fluoroscopy required. Prevention and Management of Violent Behavior (PVMB) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM/TEAM-A) required.

Preferred Credentials: Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or equivalent preferred; some certifications will require a Bachelor’s degree.

Unit Details: Performs cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using a variety of complicated and sophisticated equipment. Assists with cardiac catheterization and specialized procedures, including angiocardiograms, fluoroscopy/cinefluorography, contrast medium injection, and interventional procedures such as instilling enzymes or inserting balloon in blood vessels to remove plaque or other blockage. This department performs before-, during-, and after-care of invasive, interventional, and therapeutic procedures/studies to treat cardiac and vascular arterial, venous, and structural heart disorders, cardiac rhythm abnormalities, implant and remove devices and leads, and conduct therapeutic ablations. Monitors blood pressure, cardiac output, and respiration during imaging of the cardiovascular system and provides procedure explanations and discharge instructions.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift options: 7am-5:30pm, 8-6:30pm, or 9-7:30pm. Call: after hours every other weekend and 2 weeknights per week.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
