Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Hybrid Fluoro equipment (e.g., Siemens Zeego or GE Alia) is required.
Cardiac Cath procedures are required.
Cath Lab skills are required.
Vascular skills are required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Experience with a Siemens Zeego Hybrid Fluoro machine is preferred.

Required Credentials:
RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.
No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Special Requests:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
A maximum of 2 RTO requests may be made per contract.
Monthly parking options include North Surface Lot ($73), Clayton Ave. Building Southeast Lot ($63), and Clayton Taylor Garage ($73); prices and availability may vary.

Unit Details:
Adult and geriatric patient population.
Will operate Siemens Zeego during vascular procedures, monitor patient vital signs, and use Mac-Lab during cath lab procedures.

Shift & Scheduling:
BJC policy: Every other weekend required.
Monday-Friday with one day off during the week (alternating).
Schedule is made a month in advance.
No weekends are required.
The unit is closed on major holidays.
Call required: 1-2 times a week, every 3rd or 4th weekend.

Floating Requirements:
Floats within scope to meet facility needs.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
