Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Cross Country Program - UAMS Medical Center.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: EP, cath, and structural cases. EP procedures include ablations, EP studies, devices (pacemakers, ICD, etc.), lead extractions, and cardioversions. Cath procedures include left heart caths, right heart caths, transvenous pacing, Impella insertions/removals, and peripheral cases. Structural procedures include Watchmans, valve procedures, PFOs, and ECMO. Three rooms run at a time with three staff members per room. Average case volume is 5-6 cath procedures per day in cath rooms and 2-5 cases in EP rooms, depending on procedure mix.

Shift & Scheduling: Scheduled Monday through Friday. Call volume depends on staffing and is not fixed; typically limited to 7 days total per month, including one Friday-Sunday weekend and four weeknights. Weeknight call is 5pm - 6:30am. Weekend call is 5pm Friday - 6:30am Monday morning.
