Shift: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 12 months within the last 12 months.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Christus Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Christus Health.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology, an associate’s degree in a healthcare-related field, or an acceptable equivalent required.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Preferred certifications include Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) by CCI, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI, Radiography (R) by ARRT, Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) by ARRT, Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) by ARRT, Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS, Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS, Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS, and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS.

Unit Details: Supports cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing the lab and operating fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition equipment. Documents patient information and hemodynamic measurements during procedures. Scrubs procedures, performs access site management, and serves as the radiation safety representative during X-ray use. Uses cath lab equipment including X-ray, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), intracardiac echo (ICE), contrast injector, hemodynamic system, intra-aortic balloon pump, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, and left ventricular assist device.
