Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• AS completion preferred.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 1-2 years Cath Lab experience required.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or equivalent preferred; some certifications will require a bachelor’s degree.

Unit Details: Performs cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using digital imaging, fluoroscopy, contrast injection, and cinefluorography equipment. Assists with cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures, including hemodynamic monitoring of blood pressure, cardiac output, and respiration. Provides patient procedure explanations and discharge instructions. Documentation systems: Change HealthCare and GE Mac Lab. Special equipment: Rampart. Staffing: days 2 RN and 2 CVT per patient/room; nights and weekends 2 RN and 2 CVT on call.

Shift & Scheduling: Standardized M-F schedule 0700-1530. On-call required 6-7 days per month, including 1 weekend per month. Weekday call is M-F 1530-0700; weekend coverage is Friday 1530 through Monday 0700. Self scheduling for the monthly call schedule.

Floating Requirements: May be required to float to PACU EAST. You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required
