Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• 3 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Anyone who worked as a traveler at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

OU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center is Oklahoma’s only Level I Trauma Center.

Required Skills/Experience: - The role requires stepdown/PCU experience. - The role needs 2 recent years of experience in Cath lab.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Clinicians should have strong Trauma Level 1 experience and/or be willing to work with difficult cases.

Required Credentials: - A graduate of post-secondary educational program in health science (includes, but not limited to, cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT) as defined by ARRT or CCI. - Completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program is accepted in lieu of other educational requirements. - ARRT(RT), RCES or RCIS certification required.

Unit Details: - Procedures include cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization, and pain management. - The role includes acting as a scrub tech while assisting providers during procedures. - The lab handles STEMI, shock, VAD, ECMO, and structural heart cases. - The lab uses Philips imaging equipment and is adding new Siemens imaging equipment in March. - The lab’s hemosystem is Xper.

Shift & Scheduling: - The role includes on-call clinical coverage outside regularly scheduled duty hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as assigned.

Floating Requirements: - Travelers will be first to float.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI
