Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Rightsourcing Program - IHC Health Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Rightsourcing Program - IHC Health Services.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab is preferred.

Required Credentials: - Fluoroscopy Operator Registration is required for RCIS and/or RCES.

Preferred Credentials: - Associate’s degree preferred.

Unit Details: - Provides technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures. - Provides patient care under the supervision of the RN. - Assists physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures and acts as a scrub assistant, maintaining sterile conditions during clinical procedures. - Operates imaging equipment and works in the control room monitoring and documenting procedure images and events. - Educates patients and families regarding the procedure and pre- and post-procedure expectations.

Shift & Scheduling: - On-call weekdays and weekends.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certifications CI, RCES

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
