Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is required within the last 5 years.

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have current cath lab experience. Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors, as well as balloon pumps.

Required Credentials: RCIS or CCT not accepted.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Travel pairs are not accepted. Open to block scheduling on Friday-Sunday.

Unit Details: Cases are done with 2 techs: 1 scrubs and 1 monitors hemodynamics; RN performs conscious sedation. Sometimes a 4th person is present, either an RN or a tech depending on the case. Lead tech handles room assignments. STEMI receiving facility. Cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention cases.

Shift & Scheduling: Fri-Sun schedule. Every other weekend. On-call 1x/week for inpatient and emergent cases. Weekend call 1 weekend/month from Fri evening through Mon AM; subject to change based on unit needs.

Floating Requirements: First to float.
