Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a procedure area is required. Experience performing endovascular procedures in a Hybrid OR setting and EVAR experience are required.

Required Credentials: ARRT or equivalent or RCIS is required.

Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility. RTO requires manager approval.

Unit Details: The patient population is adults. Cases include open and closed procedures. Procedures include TCAR (transcarotid arterial revascularization), TEVAR (thoracic endovascular aortic repair), EVAR, TAVR (transcatheter aortic valve repair), TMVR (transcatheter mitral valve repair), AIFF (aortoiliac femoral femoral angiogram), and femoral bypass. The unit likely handles 1-2 cases per day. Uses Baxter IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Siemens and Philips X-ray and hemodynamic systems. Could be expected to precept students.

Shift & Scheduling: Orientation includes 4 x 10hr shifts for the first week with a preceptor. Weekend rotation: Flexibility needed. Likely working every other or every third weekend. Call coverage is 24hr on two weekends a month, with nightly call 1-2 times a week. Likely to work every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: Float to assist within the Cath lab for peripheral and structural procedures.
