Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
2-3 years Cath Lab experience with Impella, telemetry, and IABP required.
Must be able to independently read telemetry strips.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
IR experience preferred.

Required Credentials:
Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.
If you have RCIS, state license is not required.

Unit Details:
Performs and records hemodynamic monitoring, assists with radiologic operations in the Cardiac Cath Lab, and operates ambulatory monitoring equipment in the Cardiology department.
Performs quality control using diagnostic imaging and simple equipment troubleshooting.
Completes patient billing forms for Cardiac Cath Lab procedures.
Performs daily calibration and maintenance of the film processor using sensitometric and densitometric equipment.
Assists with preparing cardiology patients for invasive procedures.

Shift & Scheduling:
No set day off.
Evening and weekend call for emergency procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Driver's license required for submission

Certifications:

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
