Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Pikeville Medical Center.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program required. Associates degree in Radiology Technology required. ARRT Certification required. EKG training required.
Preferred Credentials: Nuclear Medicine Certification preferred. ODC preferred.
Unit Details: Assists with sterile diagnostic and interventional care for young adult through elderly patients, including care of critically ill patients. Performs cardiac cath, electrophysiology, structural heart, and interventional radiology procedures including PTCA, PCI, Rotablator, CSI, Penumbra, balloon pump/Impella insertion, intravascular ultrasound, FFR/iFR, vascular procedures, vascular access, arterial and venous sheath management, temporary pacemaker insertion, closure device management, Spectranetics laser, thermodilution and invasive monitoring/hemodynamics calculations, structural heart procedures (TAVR, Watchman, PFO closures, MitraClips), pacemaker/ICD placement, loop recorder insertion/removal, radiofrequency ablations, cryoablations, electrical pulse field ablations, EP procedures, synchronized cardioversion/defibrillation, radiological positioning/techniques, cardiac monitor lead placement, contrast volume tracking, contrast delivery methods, PCI registry data gathering, ACT, postmortem care, and patient transport. Uses Philips XPER, Acist device or manual manifold, X-ray equipment, and other cath lab equipment; continuously assesses hemodynamic stability using invasive and non-invasive measures and documents procedural details and clinical responses in the EMR and hemodynamic monitoring system.
Shift & Scheduling: 24/7 call coverage required with a 30-minute hospital arrival time.
