Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:

Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials: Ascension Specialty Exam required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with only 2 attempts allowed. Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have an employment separation of at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. To receive travel rate, the clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license.

Unit Details: Performs diagnostic, specialized radiographic, and cardiovascular invasive procedures using ionizing radiation, including complex image manipulation, data interpretation, and analysis. Responsibilities include patient preparation and monitoring; contrast/media administration within scope; venous and arterial access in the presence of a physician; urinary catheterization; suturing; compression and bandaging; distal pulse checks; non-narcotic and pressurized injections; wire and catheter manipulation and placement as permitted; sterile field and infection control; documentation; inventory and supply management; vendor communication; procedure scheduling, authorizations, and referrals; obtaining H&Ps, lab results, and prior films; and patient/family procedure and discharge education. Procedures/cases include peripherals, DVT, LHC, RHC, biopsy, and structural heart.

Shift & Scheduling: May be required to be on-call and respond to emergency call-back within departmental specified timeframes; rotates room, case, and call-back assignments with other qualified staff. For 12-hour schedules, flexible contract hours of 36 or 48 per week are available.
