Shift: 7:00 PM - 5:00 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• Travel experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program -Saint Francis Medical Center.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - Techs must be able to scrub. - Inpatient and outpatient work setting experience required. - Equipment documentation experience required. - Experience required with aseptic technique, airway management, line insertion, TEVAR, pericardial window, mitral valve replacement, femoral-popliteal bypass graft, EVAR, endovascular aneurysm repair, coronary artery bypass graft, carotid endarterectomy, cardiomyoplasty, atrial septal defect repair, atherectomy, and abdominal aortic aneurysm repair. - Can be a cath lab, IR, or special procedures tech.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Able to scrub open cases would be a big bonus.
Special Requests: - RTO is limited during the holiday. - All RTO should be discussed during interview and must be included at time of submission.
Unit Details: - Adult and geriatric patient population. - Imaging and scrub coverage for the hybrid vascular room outside of normal scheduled hours. - Supporting three vascular surgeons. - Vascular surgical cases include arterial, visceral, and venous intervention; AAA stent; peripheral intervention with possible conversion to open. - Scrub for the percutaneous portion; a surgical tech would be available if the case converted to open. - Set up tray, injector, table operation, X-ray and imaging set up including DSA, and radiation safety. - Scrub and assist the vascular surgeon with wires, catheters, balloons, stents, and other interventional and closure devices.
Shift & Scheduling: - 7 on/7 off. - Holiday rotation required. - Work every other weekend required. - Call required: 7 days per month, but varies at least 1 weekend. - Call would begin at 1600 and end at 0730 Monday through Friday, with 24-hour call on Saturday and Sunday. - Average call-in/late cases occur twice per week.
