Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Cerner is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Marshfield Clinic Health System.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years Cath experience, specific experience dependent on where we would utilize person.

Special Requests: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Must take full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether it was a teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Previous Marshfield employees must have an end date 6 months prior to submission.

Unit Details: Common cases include LHC, RHC, PCI, structural, Watchman, Impella, IABP, IFR, FFR, IVUS, STEMI, Roto, and Laser. Prepare procedure suites and ensure radiation safety setup; calibrate and troubleshoot fluoro and hemodynamics monitoring; pull supplies; set up sterile table; scrub in and assist physicians with procedures including device exchange, guidewire manipulation, catheter placement, balloon and stent deployment; manage radiation dose and imaging angles; clean, restock, perform room turnover, and remove sheaths. Uses Merge.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating day off. Will consider 5-8s 7-330. Weeknight and weekend call rotation, approximately once every 3 weekdays and every 3rd weekend (Fri-Mon). May be asked to go into holiday call. 30 min call response time. No call the first week; 2nd week on call with a buddy, then on their own.

Floating Requirements: Hybrid for vascular cases.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
