Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of travel experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Prolucent Health Program - Northwell Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Prolucent Health Program - Northwell Health.

Required skills/experience:

  • Minimum 3 years + Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab experience
  • Proficient in scrubbing electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems (Micra, Aveir preferred).
  • Proficient in scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases (PCI, atherectomy), and supporting mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP, temporary pacing).
  • Experience supporting neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions
  • Expertise in assisting with radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices.

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Familiarity with Siemens
  • Proficient in scrubbing structural heart procedures, including TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and Watchman.
  • Skilled in advanced cardiovascular imaging and technologies, including ICE, IVUS, OCT, and 3D mapping systems and mechanical circulatory support devices.

Shift & schedule requirements: Variable start time between the hours of 6:00am-8:00 pm. Participation in weekend, holiday, and on‑call rotation as required by department needs

7 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
