Shift: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Christus Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Christus Health.

Additional Details:
Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree preferred. One of the following credentials is preferred: RCES by CCI, RCS by CCI, Radiography (R) by ARRT, Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) by ARRT, Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV) by ARRT, Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) by ARRT, Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS, Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS, Adult Echocardiography (AE) RDCS by ARDMS, or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 90 days must be explained.
Unit Details: Supports cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing the lab and operating equipment for fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition. Includes documentation of patient information and hemodynamic measurements/recording, ECG recognition during procedures, scrubbing procedures, access site management, and serving as the radiation safety representative during X-ray use. Equipment includes X-ray, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), intracardiac echo (ICE), contrast injector, hemodynamic system, intra-aortic balloon pump, rotational atherectomy, thrombectomy, and left ventricular assist device.

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certifications RCES, RCS, (R), CI, CV, VI, RDMS, RDCS, RVT
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
