Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Travel experience is required from any number of months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: Call standby, approx. 12-15 shifts/months. Weekend call is rotated, right now every 3rd weekend – at times of need could be every other but we are stable right now at every 3rd for our rotation. Holiday call is rotated too. Shift – I need 36 hours, 0.9 FTE – M-Thursday 0700-1530 and 07-12noon on Fridays

Required Skills/Experience: 2 yrs min in PCI Center

Preferred Skills/Experience: Required Credentials: Photo ID card is required.

Preferred Credentials:

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Diagnostic cardiac cath, interventions, Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump, ICD and pacemaker implants, pulmonary thrombectomy. pre & post procedure care. call standby and call back cases. Cardiac catheterizations (right & left heart), percutaneous coronary interventions - PTCA, stent, shockwave, rotational atherectomy, IVUS, thrombectomy, FFR, IABP, Impella, temporary and permanent pacemakers, ICD, pericardiocentesis, synch CV, TEE

Types of Patients on Unit: Chest pain, CAD, STEMI, NSTEMI, heart block, SSS, cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrhythmias, CHF, cardiovascular disease, pulmonary hypertension, congenital heart disease, heart valve disease, microvascular heart disease

Equipment Used on Unit: Siemens Artis Q & Icono, Impella, Getinge IABP, LP 15 Defib, Mennen hemo/documentation system, RotaPro, BSCI IVUS, Angiojet, Shockwave

Previous Employment Requirements: Return Travelers: If a traveler takes a break after an assignment and returns within 18 months, re- orientation is not required.

Special Requests: RTO must be included at time of submittal or will not be approved- no exceptions

Floating Requirements: Floating is required and mandatory for all units. All travelers will be expected to float to any area at UMHS as a Patient Observer (PTOB) – “Sitter.”

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 3 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
