Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse - $2510 per week.

Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Must be able to independently monitor AFib/AFlutter ablation cases.
Must be able to scrub AFib/AFlutter ablations and permanent pacemaker (PPM) procedures.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
CCL and EP skills preferred.
Ability to move between EP and Cath Lab to perform different cases, including ablations, PPM, Watchman procedures, LHC, CHC, and PCI is preferred.

Special Requests:
If only able to do CCL, the clinician must be within 30 minutes of the hospital and take 11 days of call per month.

Unit Details:
Equipment includes 3 Siemens units and 1 Philips unit, the newest.
Uses Cardio Lab and Mac Lab.
Procedures include AFib/AFlutter ablations, pacemakers/PPMs, and Watchman procedures.
Cases include LHC, CHC, PCI, peripheral cases, thrombectomies, and IR procedures (perma-caths and PEG tubes).
The unit uses Impella devices and balloon pumps.

Shift & Scheduling:
Schedule flexibility is expected, including willingness to stay until cases end.
Flexible for 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shift needs; lab hours are 0600-2200.
If working only on the EP side, call is required 2 weekends out of the month, and flexibility is required during the week to stay until late in the evening.

Floating Requirements:
Floats between EP and Cath Lab, in either direction.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required
