Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse - $2560 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
ICU/Cardiac Stepdown experience.
Critical care and/or previous procedural experience (Cath/EP lab).
Competent in pulling of sheaths.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience with all cardiac diagnoses, with emphasis on procedural patients (Cath, EP lab, Structural Heart).
Previous Cath/EP lab experience preferred.
Moderate sedation experience preferred.

Unit Details:
Prepares and recovers all Cath Lab and EP Lab patients.
Procedures performed include sheath pulls, groin management, cardioversions, radial access site management, and GA recovery.
Equipment includes IV pumps, specialty beds, bedside monitors, telemetry boxes, and Zoll.

Shift & Scheduling:
Two shifts are 0600-1830 and one shift is 0800-2030 per week.
No weekly call or weekend shifts.

Floating Requirements:
Floating to IR Pre/Post is rarely requested and is flexed based on volume.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required
