Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday schedule. On-call approximately 10-11 days per month, including 1 weekend. Call starts with one day toward the end of orientation week with an experienced nurse; the unit tries not to schedule call the first weekend, but clinicians should be able to take call by the second weekend.

Floating Requirements: Will float between Bryan Campus (home base) and CS Campus at 1604 Rock Prairie Rd, College Station, TX 77845.

Unit Details: Case volume varies, with 5-7 cases minimum per day and up to 15 cases in one day. EP cases include ICDs, pacemakers, and ablations (A-flutter, SVT, A-fib). Patient care includes cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization cases. RNs circulate and monitor cases; all staff are cross-trained for case monitoring. Case monitoring uses the GE MacLab/Combo Lab Hemodynamic Monitoring System. Special procedures/IR are not performed in this unit; a separate area handles those procedures. Clinicians are expected to perform cases independently by Thursday or Friday.
