Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Preferred Skills/Experience: EKOS experience preferred; can train.

Special Requests: Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed. If the candidate worked at a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from that perm facility. Previous traveler eligibility: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers. At least 1 reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job being applied to.

Unit Details: Cath Pre/Post Recovery area. RNs circulate, sedate, and complete documentation requirements. Common procedures/cases include diagnostic left and right heart caths, PCI, IABP, Impella, temporary pacemaker, TCAR, EVAR, EKOS, AIF, IVC filters, Infusaports, Permacaths, and venograms. Uses Siemens software and equipment.

Shift & Scheduling: One week of on-call per four week schedule: Monday 7 AM to following Monday 7 AM. Travelers can break up call days to equal one week per four week schedule. Weekend call is Friday after hours until Monday 0700 if not doing the Monday-to-Monday call time. Rotational holiday call. Call response time: 30 minutes.

Floating Requirements: Floating not required; if extra hours are wanted, there are units they can go to if they have experience.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
