Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required clinical skills include Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath lab, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Interventional Catheterizations, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Pharmacological Stress Test, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Right heart catheterization, Rotablator atherectomy, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Watchman procedure, Pacemaker Insertion, and Angioplasty. Additional required clinical skills include Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, Dobutamine, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Reversal agents, Thrombolytics, Assist with Central Line Insertion/management, Blood Product Administration, Implanted Ports - Care and Maintenance, IV infusion pumps, PICC Lines - Care and Maintenance, Starting and maintaining IVs, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Circulate Procedures, End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Infection Prevention, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Laser-assisted procedure, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose), and Ventilator Management.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Required Credentials: You must have a MO license and be in the process of applying for a KS license (+vice-versa) or you must have a compact licensure to apply.

Special Requests: If requesting 7 days of RTO, the expectation is that the missed time is made up. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Unit Details: The average daily census is 4 procedures per lab, with 16 visits per day. Patient ratios are 1:4 on days and 1:3 on nights. Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Unit procedures include CORS, PCI, Peripherals, Cardiac Biopsies, Right Heart Caths, Cardiomems, TAVR, TMVR, LAAO closure (Watchman), PVL, ASD/PFO, CTO, and MTEER.

Shift & Scheduling: Call required: to include weekends. No more than 7 days of RTO.

Floating Requirements: Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
