Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of recent Cath lab experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: EP experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Dysrhythmia exam required.

Preferred Credentials: Critical Care Course preferred.

Unit Details: Functions independently as scrub nurse and circulator. Adult and geriatric patient population. Assists cardiologists and cardiovascular physicians with catheter-based cardiac and vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. Generally sees diagnostic and interventional cases; typically 4-8 caths per day, with add-on volume as needed and rare days of 12-16 cases when 2 cath rooms are running. Works across cath, vascular, EP, and hybrid lab environments. Uses GE machines; one vascular lab uses Siemens equipment. Experience with balloon pump, Impella, IVUS, iFR/FFR, TAVR, PFO closures, Watchman, EKOs, atherectomy with CSI, RotaPro, and laser, in addition to angiography, balloon/stenting, transvenous/temporary pacing, hemodynamic monitoring, and conscious sedation.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday schedule with at least 14 days of call per month; call may include weekends, nights, and holidays. Must be able to respond to STEMI call backs in less than 30 minutes.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
