Shift: 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• BSN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Florida license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Completion of 500 hours of PCI-certified work in a Cardiac Cath Lab in a hospital with an open-heart surgery program is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: ICU experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Provides direct patient care during cardiac and interventional radiology procedures. Monitors patients during conscious sedation per physician instructions. Assists with lifesaving actions such as CPR and defibrillation. Administers medications during advanced interventional cardiac/peripheral procedures such as STEMI, PCI, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, PICC line insertion, and interventional radiology. The patient population ranges from pediatric to geriatric. Required protective equipment includes eye protection, face protection, a gown, lab coat or apron, frequent non-sterile medical gloves, and sterile medical gloves.

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
