Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: Hospital-setting Cardiac Cath/IR experience of more than 3 years is required.

Unit Details: Common diagnoses and patient types include compression fractures, venous access, hydronephrosis, chest pain, PHTN, SOB, gastric ulcer, PE and DVT. Intra-procedural duties include circulating, supply management, medication administration, and sedation. The lab averages 4-5 cases per day. Uses Apollo cardiac charting. Client will provide Landauer radiation badges. The lab primarily performs IR with cardiac inpatient add-ons and is prepared for STEMIs, including treatment with IABP for stabilization.

Shift & Scheduling: On-call coverage: 1600-0700 S/S and 0730-0730. Minimum 10 weeknight call shifts are required. Minimum 2 weekends of call are required (1 IR and 1 Cardiac). Holiday call is required. Call response time is 30 minutes from IMC; ASAP to LKS/MCB/Bergan. The supervisor approves the schedule. Unit-specific orientation includes an on-call buddy call.

Floating Requirements: Floating is required daily and on call as needed.
