Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Michigan license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - MidMichigan.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Cath Lab RN experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Interventional Radiology experience preferred. 1+ years of Electrophysiology experience preferred. Cardiac rhythm interpretation preferred. Knowledge and operation of intraaortic balloon pump preferred.

Unit Details: Cares for patients before, during, and after angiography, interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, and other diagnostic testing/procedures, including pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation, post-cath care, and patient education. Scrubs in for procedures and assists other members of the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Assists with stress echocardiograms, routine treadmill exams, nuclear and pharmacologic stress testing, tilt table testing, echocardiograms (NS/Definity), cardioversions, and transesophageal echocardiograms. Assists with prep, procedure, and recovery for interventional radiology procedures. Provides sedation monitoring; performs Holter monitor, event monitor, and ambulatory blood pressure monitor application, pacemaker interrogations, PICC line insertion, and vascular access support. Uses cardiac output and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, pacemakers/ICDs, intraaortic balloon pump, crash cart, IV pumps, defibrillators, point-of-care glucometer testing, and stress machines.

Shift & Scheduling: On-call 10 days per month, including IR/Vascular and STEMI call.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 2 years
