Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Required Skills/Experience: Phlebotomy and IV placement competency required. IR Lab experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests: Please keep RTO close to 1 week.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cath lab patients require diagnostic or interventional cardiac catheterization, and IR lab patients require drains, tubes, kyphoplasty, biopsies, and related procedures. Clinical procedures and skills include interventional cardiac catheterization, special procedures, cardiac stent placement, adult diagnostic catheterizations, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction/removal, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), pulmonary artery line/Swan-Ganz monitoring, angioplasty, gastrostomy tube placement, liver biopsy, paracentesis, percutaneous hepatic angiography, embolization, nephrostomy, renal angiography, renal artery stent placement, uterine arterial embolization, chest tube placement, lung biopsy, pulmonary angiography, pulmonary embolization, central venous access including non-tunneled/PICC and port placement, dialysis graft creation/revision and interventional dialysis graft procedures, endovascular interventions, stent graft placement, SVC/IVC venography, upper and lower extremity angiography, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, emergency medications, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, implanted port care and maintenance, IV infusion pumps, 12-lead EKGs, circulating procedures, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias.

Shift & Scheduling: Call required for RNs: 8-10 shifts/mo, including 1-2 weekends per month depending on schedule.

Maximum consecutive days off: 10

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
