Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Peripheral diagnostic and interventional case experience, including fistulograms, is required for RNs.
RNs must have conscious sedation and drip titration/management skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Hybrid experience preferred but not required.

Unit Details:
This is a fast-paced, high-acuity 24/7 adult Cath Lab with 24-40 cases a day and no pediatric cases.
Cardiac cases include diagnostic and interventional procedures, RHC, LHC, STEMI/NSTEMI, CTO, valvuloplasty, CardioMEMS, biopsies, atherectomies, staged PCI, IABP, and Impella. Peripheral cases include diagnostic and interventional procedures and some fistulograms. Hybrid cases include AAA grafts, thoracic grafts, clips, TAVRs, and Watchman.
Equipment includes Alaris, Pyxis, GE C-arms, Volcano, St. Jude, Alphavac, Angiovac, EKOS, Anari, ECMO, GE Pruka (also known as Maclab) hemodynamic monitoring, Fuji and ProSolv PACS, and a Maquet IABP.

Shift & Scheduling:
Shifts offered: 8-hour shifts from 0600-1430, 1100-1930, or 1200-2030; or 12-hour shifts from 0600-1830.
Weekend call is 24 hours (0600-0600), and weekend coverage may be needed depending on department case load.
Permanent staff take call from Friday-Friday (7 days) every 2-3 months; the call week may be split if preferred, and management is open to discussing call rotation/requirements.
A 30-minute response time is required for call.
Possible holiday may be required.
Up to 7 days of time off may be approved.
Staff, including travelers, cannot work more than 60 hours in a week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts.
