Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Required Skills/Experience: Candidates who do not scrub will be considered.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Cannot have been directly employed full time, part time, or PRN by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday through Friday schedule. Call averages 12 days, including weekends, and can range up to 18 depending on staffing; response time is 30 minutes. At least every other weekend, call is required from Friday 1530 to Monday 0700. Holiday call is required and is assigned on a rotating basis.

Unit Details: The unit averages 8 cases per day. The lab performs all cardiac invasive procedures except structural heart procedures, plus peripheral procedures, carotid procedures, AV grafts, EVAR, and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures. The unit does not perform “dirty” procedures such as PEGs, G-tubes, or nephrostomy tubes. Ventilator support is available on the unit. An IV team is available, and respiratory therapy and pharmacy are available 24/7.
