Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Candidates who do not scrub will be considered.

Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. One supervisor reference must be from within 12 months and one from within 3 years. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. Candidates may not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year. Candidates who were employed PRN through outside firms will be considered.

Unit Details: Averages 8 cases per day. Ventilators are present. Cardiac cath cases include all cardiac invasive procedures except structural heart procedures. Peripheral cath lab and IR procedures include carotid, A/V grafts, EVAR, peripheral diagnostics, and interventions. “Dirty” procedures such as PEGs, G-tubes, and nephrostomy tubes are not performed.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday schedule. Call is required at least every other weekend from Friday 1530 to Monday 0700. The average number of call days, including weekends, is 12; it can range up to 18 depending on staffing. Call response time is 30 min. Holiday call is required and is assigned on a rotating basis.
