Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Adaptive Workforce Solutions Program - University of Rochester and no current placement allowed at Program: Adaptive Workforce Solutions Program - University of Rochester.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Critical care or cardiac experience required. Dysrhythmia/telemetry experience required. TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman experience required. Experience in right heart and left heart hemodynamics, cardiac interventions, CTO, PCI, pericardiocentesis, vascular interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever. Mechanical circulatory support experience required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD. Structural heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, valvuloplasty, and ASA.

Preferred Skills/Experience: EP lab experience preferred. Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and equipment preferred.

Required Credentials: Moderate sedation training required.

Preferred Credentials: Cardiovascular certification preferred.

Special Requests: No travel pairs requiring the same schedule or special requests.

Unit Details: Inpatient and outpatient procedural lab focused on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients. Cares for adult and pediatric patients. Comprehensive program with pre- and post-procedural care holding area. RN/CVT collaborative practice model focused on patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Shift & Scheduling: All assignments are D/E/N rotating shift schedules, every other weekend, holidays/on-call/callback/charge per unit. No straight day shifts. Preference for 36 HPW. 4x10 or 3x12 hours (7am-5:30pm or 7am-7:30pm). Weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge per unit needs.
