Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• 1 month of Cerner experience is required with 1 month within the last 60 months (5 years).

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Required Skills/Experience:
Cath Lab experience only; no IR/Neuro experience is required. Travelers will not be cross-trained and must have current Cath Lab experience.
Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips including Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressin, and balloon pumps.

Required Credentials:
Basic EKG interpretation test assigned during orientation.

Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Travel pairs are not accepted.

Unit Details:
The unit handles cardiac/coronary, vascular, peripheral, general interventional radiology, electrophysiology, and neurointerventional cases.
Case volume varies from 10 - 22 cases per day total.
RNs provide conscious sedation.
Cath lab documentation uses Merge.

Shift & Scheduling:
Start times vary between 0630 and 0730; shifts may continue until cases are done.
The unit is not open on weekends, but weekend call is required for inpatient, urgent, and emergent cases. Weekend call rotates every other weekend and runs from Friday evening through Monday morning; this may change based on unit needs.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
