Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 10 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• BSN completion preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission).
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Sunburst Workforce Advisors Program - Cape Cod Healthcare and no current placement allowed at Program: Sunburst Workforce Advisors Program - Cape Cod Healthcare.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Acute Cardiac Unit/Stepdown (Post-procedure monitoring and management of patients following cardiac interventions (e.g., PCI, ablation, pacemaker/ICD insertion, TAVR) and vasoactive medication management). Demonstrated skills in I.V. administration and telemetry monitoring.
Required Credentials: IABP (intra-aortic balloon pump) course required. CCHC Pharmacology Exam and CCHC Basic Arrhythmia Exam must be passed prior to start date. Upon accepting an offer, Basic Arrhythmia and Pharmacology exams will be assigned. Failure after two attempts will result in immediate cancellation by the facility.
Preferred Credentials: Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) preferred.
Unit Details: Use of lead apron required.
Shift & Scheduling: Rotating days/evenings: 7a-5:30p, 8a-6:30p, or 9a-7:30p. Rotating weekends and holidays. On-call required for nights, weekends, and holidays in rotation.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Current Cardiovascular interventional nursing experience within the last 5 years
7 days maximum time off
2 references required from within the last 2 years

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) or the alternative certification CRN
