Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
• Diploma completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main and no current placement allowed at Program: Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group, LLC (Direct) - Main.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials: Driver license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Specialty Exam required prior to first assignment; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension EKG Exam required with a passing score of at least 80%, with only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Cerner test-out required. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.
Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver’s license.
Unit Details: Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. Assess, prepare, and position patients for procedures; perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary; communicate patient condition to the physician before, during, and after procedures. Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional procedures, and set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during, and after procedures. Multimodality lab supporting cath lab, vascular, IR, EP, and neuro cases. Uses Merge hemo.
Shift & Scheduling: For 12-hour schedules, flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
