Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Montrose Regional Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Montrose Regional Health.

Additional Details:
3 separate interview times must be provided with each submission.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - IV conscious sedation preferred.
Required Credentials: - 50 proctored exercise stress tests/nuclear imaging stress tests by the cardiologists. - Must have completed a 12-lead ECG course. - Must have 10 hours of physician-led didactic time. - Completed competency.
Unit Details: - Under direct supervision of the cardiologist, role includes explaining procedures to patients; determining whether the ordered exercise protocol is appropriate based on physical and medical information; monitoring for adverse effects; overseeing practical aspects of the procedure; and performing/supervising exercise stress tests and nuclear imaging stress tests. - Must be able to recognize and properly treat serious or life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias and complications of exercise testing. - Includes alternative pharmacological cardiovascular testing, lead placement and skin preparation, exercise physiology/hemodynamics, ECG interpretation and exercise-related ECG changes, testing end points, and causes of false-positive, indeterminate, or false-negative test results.
Shift & Scheduling: - Monday-Thursday. - Call required.
7 days maximum time off
1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
