Experience:
• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience worked in the last 3 years.
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Community Health Systems (CHS).

Required Skills/Experience: - In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you’re applying to. - Will consider experience in PACU, ICU, telemetry, cath lab, or surgery center on a case-by-case basis.

Unit Details: - Cardiac Observation Unit provides pre- and post-procedure care for Cath Lab patients. - High-risk, high-acuity patient population. - Bedside procedures include transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and cardioversions (CV). - Responsibilities include admitting patients; prepping patients for cath procedures, including pre-procedure checklist charting, IV starts, and access preparation; prepping patients for CV and TEE; recovering post-cath patients who had conscious sedation; sedating, circulating, and documenting bedside CV and TEE procedures; and discharge teaching, documentation, and physical discharge.
Shift & Scheduling: - 3 x 12s: days (0600-1830, 0700-1930, 0800-2030). - Call includes Saturday and Sunday on a rotational basis, approximately once every six weeks, but may be as frequent as once every 4 weeks. - Call shift hours: Saturday 0700-1700 and Sunday 0700-1400.
