Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 22 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Travel experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services.

Additional Details:
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Blood/Blood Products Administration Cardioversion / Defibrillation Cooling / Warming Blanket Obtain 12 Lead EKG Syringe Pumps Will accept an IR nurse with IR experience and no cath lab experience.
Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Perm candidates of Providence/Swedish facilities are eligible for a travel contract only if they have been separated for at least 3 months. Does not accept first-time travelers. If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology. STEMI. EP lab, interventional, and procedural cases. Biopsies, GI/GU/renal, peripheral vascular, and stent placement.
Shift & Scheduling: On-call requirement: One weekday and one weekend per month (minimum requirement). Depending on staffing and vacation, hours can vary from 8hr or 10 hr shifts, with additional days and weekends per month. Every other weekend. Must arrive within 60 minutes of receiving call.
5 days maximum time off
2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
