Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 6 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
At least 6 months of experience working independently and ability to perform at least 12 echoes per day (a simple protocol; each study takes 10-15 minutes).

In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you’re applying to.

Unit Details:
The EKG technician is primarily responsible for performing electrocardiograms (EKGs) and Holter monitor hookups and scanning. Responsibilities also include editing and filing all EKG recordings or cardiology records and appropriate billing of charges.
Shift & Scheduling:
Friday-Saturday-Sunday schedule.
Call: 3 nights per week.
Maximum RTO: 1 week.
Floating Requirements:
May have to float, as needed.

7 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS
