Shift: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

If your start date is within 90 days, you must complete all labs within 72 hours of signing an offer with MUSC.

Required Credentials: Radiation badge is required; the agency must provide it because MUSC does not provide radiation badges to travelers.

Special Requests: RTO is due at time of submission; approval will be based on facility needs. Must be able to respond to call and be at the facility within 30 minutes; factor this into housing decisions. During hurricane season (June through November; peak: August–September), travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams. If unavailable for emergency response duties, please do not confirm new assignments or extensions during this period.

Unit Details: Daily caseload is 10-12 per tech. Uses Philips ultrasound machines. Uses Syngo Dynamic for structured reporting.

Shift & Scheduling: Call required: see text box. On-call requirement: at least 1 weekend a month and 1-3 days a week depending on whether you are on call that weekend. Weekend requirement: 1-2 weekends a month; holiday coverage is included.
