Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Stress echo experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Accredited Associate’s Degree in Sonography, Radiology or a related field. OR Completion of a twelve (12) month ultrasound program.

Unit Details: The assignment involves outpatient cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography). Provides pre- and post-procedure patient care, including but not limited to patient assessment and emergency cardiac care. May assist with post-procedure transport. Generates ultrasound images of the heart and/or vascular-related structures. Ensures equipment is calibrated and properly maintained daily; performs and records equipment maintenance and quality assurance monitoring; troubleshoots and identifies equipment problems. May perform staff training and education. Monitors and records patient information, maintains report storage and data systems, compiles and enters data necessary for charge entry, prepares reports, and retrieves stored information and reports from the automated storage system. Prepares procedure rooms and equipment for daily use and performs timely and efficient room setup between procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday. No call. No weekends required. No holidays required.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS
