Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Local Rate = 10% less than travel rate

Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ current Cardiovascular Sonographer/Echocardiographer experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Stress echo room experience highly preferred.

Required Credentials:
Accredited Associate’s Degree in Sonography, Radiology or a related field OR completion of a twelve (12) month ultrasound program.
One of the following is required: RDCS certified through ARDMS; RCS, ACS and RCCS certified through CCI.

Unit Details:
Provides pre- and post-procedure patient care, including patient assessment and emergency cardiac care; may assist with post-procedure transport.
Generates ultrasound images of the heart and/or vascular-related structures and performs outpatient cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography).
Ensures equipment is calibrated and properly maintained daily; performs and records equipment maintenance and quality assurance monitoring; troubleshoots equipment problems.
May perform staff training and education.
Monitors and records patient information; maintains report storage and data systems; compiles and enters data necessary for charge entry; prepares reports; and retrieves stored information and reports from the automated storage system.
Prepares procedure rooms and equipment for daily use and between procedures.

Shift & Scheduling:
Monday-Friday.
No call.
No weekend requirements.
No holiday requirements.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS
