Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ current Cardiovascular Sonographer/Echocardiographer experience required.

Required Credentials: Accredited Associate’s Degree in Sonography, Radiology or a related field OR Completion of a twelve (12) month ultrasound program.

Unit Details: Provides pre- and post-procedure patient care, including patient assessment and emergency cardiac care; may assist with post-procedure transport. Performs outpatient cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography), generating images of the heart and/or vascular-related structures. Performs and records daily equipment calibration, maintenance, and quality assurance monitoring, and troubleshoots equipment problems. Prepares the procedure room and equipment for daily use and between procedures. May perform staff training and education. Monitors and records patient information; maintains report storage and data systems; compiles and enters data necessary for charge entry; prepares reports; and retrieves stored information and reports from the automated storage system.

Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday schedule. No weekends or holidays required. No call.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS
