Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Echo skills required. Two years of experience in a similar setting required. Vascular-only sonographers may be considered if an echo-vascular sonographer cannot be obtained.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with GE equipment and EKG is a plus.

Required Credentials: Required certifications and licensure cannot expire within 30 days of the potential start date to apply. Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification is required.

Special Requests: All RTO must be in the packet at time of submission.

Shift & Scheduling: Schedule is Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends approximately every 5th weekend and holidays as needed. Call is at Lynchburg General Hospital as needed; weekend call is approximately every 5th weekend, weeknight call is as needed, and PRN adult echo call is included with the weekend. Assignments end on Saturday.

Floating Requirements: The traveler will rotate/float between Bedford Memorial Hospital, Stroobants Cardiology Center-Lynchburg, and Lynchburg General Hospital; travel between Lynchburg General Hospital and the Stroobants cardiology office is approximately 1 mile.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
